Foundation

MNIS Foundation was established for the benefit of the people we serve.

Established in 1992, the MNIS Foundation was created to help support MNIS programs. Funded through private donations, the MNIS Foundation owns the MNIS housing properties with all rent going back into the maintenance of the structures and the services we offer. The board of directors is the same as the operating board of MNIS and no one on the board earns any income from MNIS or the MNIS Foundation.

The MNIS Foundation also provides financial assistance to the people we serve for such special items as dental work, rent, and other necessities as funding allows.
